The DEBP offers people on-line careers support through its DIRECTIONS online career programme. This is highly recommended as a great source of local information. www.debp.org
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) provides a range of support to help young people and adults move forward into work or stay in work. Making the transition from school to higher education or an apprenticeship/work can be challenging, the Disabled Student Helpline provides information and advice to disabled students and apprentices, parents and/or carers and professionals working with disabled students and apprentices on a range of issues. Disabled Students Helpline is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11 am and 1pm.
