Message from the Headteacher
I feel very privileged to be the Headteacher of Stubbin Wood School & Nursery, a school where you can be confident your child will be safe, happy, and have their individual needs met through our specialist teaching and interventions.
Our values are reflected in our mission statement: 'Creating opportunities for everyone to achieve success and reach their potential. Inclusion is the centre of our ethos and day to day working practices as "Creating opportunities for everyone to achieve success" cannot be achieved without it. It is therefore part of the role of every member of staff.

Sixth Form at Center Parcs

Staff and students from Sixth Form enjoyed a week of activities at Center Parcs this week. The students had a busy five days quad biking, bowling, swimming, playing laser quest and doing archery. They were encouraged to prepare and plan their meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They had been sharpening their cooking skills in the weeks running up to the trip and this certainly paid off. On some evenings, they took a break from cooking and visited the restaurant for dinner. Although the weather could have been better, the group had a great time.
